Boston antics
Last night Jim and I with friends were sitting in the living room watching TV. I was covered up with a blanket. Daisy had jumped up on the couch to snuggle and sleep. Well Hawkeye decided to do the same thing. He jumped up and sat right down. The only problem was he sat on Daisy's face. Her little head came up and said "What just happened?".
I was also sitting down in the basement yesterday afternoon, with a blanket of course and Daisy was under the covers with me. Well Tipsy wanted up on the couch also. She jumped up. I lifted the covers and she proceeded to under when all of a sudden her head popped back and she said "what is she (Daisy) doing under there?"
You gotta love them. They keep us laughing. Where would my life be without my dogs?

Boggle/Spike Update
Boggle is being treated like a king. He is still a bed hog according to his new mom. She wondered how I ever slept with him. She sent me an email this past week with some pictures. Will have to post them soon. She said that they are able to let him out in the yard without him running away. She said that he is swimming in the pool yet, but he will get on the top step and lay down.
He is with a really good family! It makes me so happy to know that.
We love you Boggy Doggy! We miss u!

Hello from Central Illinois
Been really busy since the last long post. Days are just flying by. Jim and I had visitors last weekend. Our nephew and my in-laws were here for the weekend. Fortunately I was able to be off the whole time they were here.
We took Christopher and his mom and dad over to Sugar Creek on Saturday. Jim, Christopher and I floated down Sugar Creek on tubes. Jim's mom and dad took a canoe. It took Jim Christopher and I about 3 1/2 hours to tube it. Too slow for us. Next time we canoe it with tube behind us. I believe we had fun anyway. I think Bill and Carolyn enjoyed it also.
On Friday night, Sunday night and Monday night we played UNO. That was the best time.
I started a new job a couple of weeks ago. I really like it. It is a challenge to learn everything. There is a lot to learn. There are so many layers to the job. It is going to take some time to learn it all.
Had a new foster to come into rescue in June. She seems to be doing fine. We had her teeth cleaned and a skin tumor removed last week. You wouldn't believe she was 10 years old the way she dances around. She doesn't have too much to do with Bumper Tipsy or Hawkeye.
I did my first home visit for Midwest a couple of weeks ago. Jim and I drove to Bloomington (45 minutes away). We took Tipys with us. The girls at MWBTR told me to look the house over see how the people react with their animals. They said it basically boils down to this: If you would leave your babies with them, then I would approve them. The family treat their dogs like Jim and I do, like family.
Looks like things are going to slow down after this weekend. We should be able to get some things done around the house.
That's all for now. Later!

Daisy
She is so sweet. She sounds just like a pig when looking for food.
