Hello!
Hope this post finds everyone well. Jim and I have been working today in the house as well as outside.
He was able to get my other pantry cabinet done for my craft room. We have put one of the pantry cabinet in the basement as well as the 2 drawer cabinets. I am so excited! I am very eager to get it done so that I can get organized! Its hard for me to be creative in a mess. Drives me nuts! Of course Jim would tell me that it is a mess all the time. I will post pictures once it is finished.
Well Alan should be back in the state of Tennessee by now. He went to Brockville ON for work. It just happen to be where Megan went to boarding school. He said that the manager of the facility actually drove him to the campus yesterday. I know that he is suppose to go back in September to finish spreading her ashes. I hope that after it is done, that he can close that chapter of his life.
He called me today from the airport. When he called they had been sitting in Philly International for 6 hours. His plane was suppose to depart about 5:55 EST, it didn't leave until 8:40 EST. By then I know that it was close to 8 hours. They missed their connecting flight this morning by 5 minutes.
Well I am going to sign off for now. I need to go make a birthday card for a friend in CA. I didn't realize her bday was this week. Gotta put it on my yahoo calendar so that I will be able to send her a card next year.

Well I received some news this weekend and I can't decide if I am excited or not. Our 20th high school reunion will be held in October. Do I try to lose some weight or do I just say the hell with it and be happy the way I am?
Only time will tell what I will do.
Well Jim's mom had surgery on her knee on Friday. She has bounced back I wouldn't say full speed but may 1/4 of the speed. Talked to her tonight and she is doing really well. Was in good spirits.
Not much else happening. Oh yes! Striker got adopted this weekend. The little snot went to Madison WI. Will post a picture later of his new family. His new mom couldn't quit smiling.

Mudder's B-Day Celebration July 2005
This picture was taken in July of 2005. We were celebrating my grandmother's 90th birthday. The family had requested birthday cards only. Goal: 90 Received: 120 last count.
There were tons of people there. People that I had not seen since I was a kid.
We had a great time. I think she did too. I know that she was tired, but happy.

Good looking couple if I say so myself! This picture was taken of Jim and I at Tam's Backstage, Cumming, GA. This is name of the restaurant where the dinner was held after Jim's sister and brother in law renewed their vows. They celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary on June 13th.
Update on Rough Couple of Months
Today is July 3rd. I have been talking to Alan at least every other day if not every day. I think he is doing okay. At least that is what he is telling me. I called him on June 28 which would have been their 11 year anniversary. He flew to Florida the middle of June to spread some of her ashes. I wish that I could have been there with him. I know that I can't be there, but it bothers me to be so far away.
So far so good...went to Atlanta on June 21st. My sister in law and brother in law renewed their wedding vows on the 23rd. It was a very nice ceremony. I will post a picture of Jim and I that was taken at the dinner. The photos that were taken by the photographer were very good. I was impressed.
The minister that renewed their vows was the same minister that married Jim and I almost 18 years ago. Small world!
Father's Day weekend my aunt and a cousin rode the train up from Tennessee. We had alot of fun. We went to the small water park in Champaign, I took them to Bloomington to the mall and then we played in the basement with scrapbooking and card making on Sunday before my softball game, which we lost.
Its been a busy summer so far and its only just begun.
