Update on Puppy boots
Well Jim purchased Bumper some paws boots. That was so hilarious. Jim put them on Bumper and that head went down and looked up at him with puppy dog eyes and said "What the hell did you do to me?" Of course Jim and I are laughing because he is so funny looking. So Jim took him out the back door and sat him down on the deck. Bumper still has the sad puppy dog look. "Okay now what am I suppose to do?" Jim took Bumper out in the yard and said go potty. Bumper followed him back up to the deck. He (Bumper not Jim) looked like a duck coming up the steps. He would throw the back legs out and up into the air. It was so funny. Jim tried several more times each time taking him further out into the yard. He finally got the idea that he would have to go potty before we would let him back in the house. He did go potty. I told Jim to leave the boots on him so he would get used to them. Well Bumper didn't like that. He stood in the kitchen with the head hung low. Jim and I went into the living room and sat down. After Bumper stood in the kitchen by himself for 5 minutes he decided to clomp into the living room. He hasn't had them on but a few times since then. Of course it hasn't been as cold.
We did put them on Tipsy a couple of nights ago. She wasn't nearly as bothered by it as Bumper was. It was still funny.
That same night, Bumper and Tipsy were both sniffing around a opossum that was in the back yard. The opossum never moved. Good thing. The opossum would have never known what hit him if he had gone after my babies. I probably would have torn it limb from limb. Fortunately Bumper and Tipsy listened that night when I told them to get to the house.
I will have to put the boots back on Bumper and then on Tipsy and take a video and post it. That will probably never happen.
So much to post and so little time. Will have better access to the blog now at home since we got the old computer back up and running.
Gotta run. More stuff do before I sleep.
